Over the course of June 4-June 9, 2026 the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee bid farewell to its fourth and longest serving bishop, Most Rev. John H. Ricard, SSJ. In the spirit of Bishop Ricard’s episcopal motto, “God is Gracious,” we honor his fruitful service in the Lord’s vineyard. We place our faith in Jesus’ resurrection from the dead that we might meet him again in the New Jerusalem.
