The first Catholic Bible for youth designed especially from the African American perspective.

Saint Mary’s Press, in collaboration with The National Black Catholic Congress, Inc., is proud to present The African American Catholic Youth Bible®, the first Catholic Bible for youth designed especially from the African American perspective. This Bible speaks directly to African American youth through inspirational black art and commentaries on biblical events and personalities from an African American perspective. It chronicles major events in African American Catholic history and includes moving stories of African American holy men and women.

USCCB Respect Life Program

Each year, the USCCB Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities publishes a new set of materials called the Respect Life Program.

These materials, produced in English and Spanish, are meant to be used especially from the celebration of Respect Life Month in October of the year they were published through the following September. However, they can be used at any time. Some can be ordered in print from the Respect Life Store, and most can be downloaded, printed, and reproduced for use in your parish, school, ministry, or diocese.

Our Sunday Visitor offers a pamphlet that answers all of these questions and more!

Find a Parish: Parishes with a Strong Black Catholic Presence

Good News!  For travelers, students, military families and persons relocating for employment, there is no need to skip Mass.  Likewise, African American Catholics who wish to grow in faith with other African American Catholics need not despair of finding a “Church Home” in the Catholic Christian tradition.  What follows is a compilation of Catholic parishes that are predominantly African American Catholics.  The list is organized alphabetically by state and (arch)diocese for easy reference.
