A question that resounds through the ages: “Who do you say that I am?”
What Jesus once asked his apostles in the Gospel, he asks every believer. Our personal answer to this fundamental question is key for discovering our God-given identity and living the Christian life to the fullest.
It is this very question upon which scores from around the archdiocese will reflect in this year’s Black Catholic retreat, taking place April 19-21 at the Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat House in Sedalia.
Geared toward young adults, this webinar, presented by Colleen Thomas, explores Contemplative Life, which encompasses a network of individuals and small faith communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel. The common desire for Divine transformation, primarily expressed through a commitment to a daily Centering Prayer practice, unites our international, interdenominational community.
