The Knights and Ladies of the Bishop Emerson J. Moore Council 404 and the Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary Court 404 are members of St. Charles Borromeo, Resurrection, All Saints Parish located in Harlem New York. In recognition of their parish having celebrated its 135th Feast Day on November 5, 2023 and in recognition of Black Catholic History Month, the Knights and Ladies presented the parish with a gift of six liturgical banners with the images of the six Black Catholics currently on the path to sainthood. Participants sang Ave Maria while the photo was being taken celebrating this moment together in the sanctuary.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Lord, in this holy season of prayer and song and laughter, we praise you for the great wonders you have sent us: for shining star and angel’s song, for infant’s cry in lowly manger. We praise you for the Word made flesh in a little Child. We behold his glory, and are bathed in its radiance.
Be with us as we sing the ironies of Christmas, the incomprehensible comprehended, the poetry made hard fact, the helpless Babe who cracks the world asunder. We kneel before you shepherds, innkeepers, wisemen. Help us to rise bigger than we are. Amen.
