Sr. Dr. Oralisa Martin joined by Msgr. East (Week 3) is doing an ORACLE Bible Study on ZOOM based on Scripture and the teachings of the Church. The ORACLE Bible Study is a 5-session series taught weekly from June 2nd to July 1st from 7PM to 8:40PM. Join us in prayer meditations, teachings, and discussions. PURPOSES:
The purposes of the ORACLE Bible Study are to:
1. Teach the basic tenets of the Christian faith,
2. Bring clarity to Christian doctrine that people just accept and celebrate in church rituals,
3. Enable Catholics to grow in their faith by providing spiritual food for the soul: “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matt. 4:4 and cf. Deut. 8:3)
4. Empower Catholics to live in an ongoing relationship with the Triune God.
5. Express such a relationship through praying, witnessing, and serving.
