August 29, 2024 |

Campus Ministry invites all in the Notre Dame community into lives joyfully rooted in Jesus and the mission of the Congregation of Holy Cross. The Coordinator of Multicultural Outreach (CMO) embodies this mission by building relationships with students and key partners, and supporting student leaders in creating opportunities that deepen the faith lives of students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, focusing on Latino, Black, and Asian student needs. In particular, the CMO must know how to engage Latino, Black, and Asian young adults, supporting and encouraging them to become active participants and leaders in the Catholic Church or in their respective faith communities.

The ideal candidate will empower student leaders to build relationships, grow community at the intersection of faith and culture, and run essential programs to meet specific needs. Along with their programming responsibilities, to succeed the CMO must have well-developed skills in one-on-one mentoring, be available for planned and unplanned conversations, and serve as a trusted partner with other University units and student organizations. Finally, this candidate must be capable of forming and guiding part-time staff and student interns.
