Sister Doris Goudeaux (nee Azalea Doris Goudeau), the daughter of the late Warrington Bernard Goudeau, Sr. and Ethel Lacour Goudeau, entered eternal life on November 9, 2022. She was born on September 3, 1931. She was 91 years old. Sister Doris entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family on March 15, 1949, made First Vows on August 15, 1952, and Perpetual Vows on August 15, 1957. Sister had celebrated 73 years as a Sister of the Holy Family. Following her Bachelor’s in English degree from Cardinal Stritch in Milwaukee, Sister matriculated for her Master’s Degree in English and also did post graduate work in English at the University of Detroit. Before, during and after her intense preparations, Sister Doris taught high school students English, Journalism, history, and religion.
