Pope Francis appoints Father Jacques Fabre as new bishop of Charleston
Pope Francis has appointed Father Jacques Fabre as the new Catholic bishop of Charleston, South Carolina. The Vatican announced the 66-year-old priest’s appointment on Feb. 22.
The Charleston diocese will host a livestreamed press conference with the newly appointed bishop at 10 a.m. EST on Feb. 22.
