W. CLIFFORD PETTY – Musician & Composer

Clifford Petty was born, raised, and educated in Eufaula, AL. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music Performance (1991) and Master of Music Education (1999) degree from Alabama State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was named the Presser Scholar, the highest honor given to a music student. He is a singer, musician, recording artist, conductor, producer, composer and arranger and has taught choral music at the elementary, secondary, and university levels. Mr. Petty taught music for a decade at the historic Saint Jude Educational Institute in Montgomery, AL where he chaired the Fine Arts Department. Mr. Petty has also served as music director/presenter for a variety of religious and professional conferences and conventions. Presently, he is the Pastoral Musician and Artist in Residence at Resurrection Catholic Church in Montgomery, AL, and teaches music at Resurrection Catholic School. Mr. Petty composes, produces and records for WLP Music.
