SUMMARY:Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage with Deacon Harold
DESCRIPTION:A Journey of Courage\, Witness & Hope \n\n\n\n\n\n\n“¡Viva Cristo Rey!” – Long Live Christ the King! These were the final defiant words shouted by countless Mexican martyrs who gave their lives rather than deny their faith during one of the darkest chapters in Catholic history – the Cristero War. \nOn this sacred pilgrimage\, we walk in the footsteps of these heroic witnesses\, men\, women\, and children who stood against violent persecution\, proclaiming the kingship of Christ and the maternal protection of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of discipleship and the call to courage in our own lives.

SUMMARY:Theology of the Body and Spiritual Direction: The Art of Accompaniment Online
DESCRIPTION:This course explores various aspects of the theory and practice of spiritual direction. Spiritual direction is an art that allows many approaches. What is unique about spiritual direction is that it is a relationship that focuses on the one-on-one relationship of the directee with God.  Our one-on-one relationship with God began and is seen in original man\, in his original solitude with God and is the foundation of every other relationship.  Through the wounds inflicted by sin\, historical man struggles to live fully from that relationship. The relationship of vulnerability with a spiritual director or a deeply trusted friend can help us move towards our destiny as eschatological man\, when that relationship is fully healed and brought to its ultimate spousal consummation with Christ.  The spiritual director supports the directee in traveling a way of prayer\, purification and illumination until arriving finally at transforming union with God. \n\n\nFr. Boniface Hicks\, OSB\, is a Benedictine monk of St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe\, Pennsylvania. He has provided spiritual direction for many men and women\, including married couples\, seminarians\, consecrated religious\, and priests\, even while completing his Ph.D in computer science at Penn State University. He became the programming manager and an on-air contributor for We Are One Body Catholic Radio in 2010 and has recorded thousands of radio programs on theology and the spiritual life. He has extensive experience as a retreat master for laity\, consecrated religious\, and priests. He became the Director for Spiritual Formation for Saint Vincent Seminary in 2016 and Director of the Institute for Ministry Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary in 2019 and has offered many courses on spiritual direction and the spiritual life. He completed the STL program at Sacred Heart Seminary on the New Evangelization in April 2023. He is author of The Fruit of Her Womb\, published by Sophia Institute Press\, as well as Through the Heart of St. Joseph and together with Fr. Thomas Acklin\, OSB he is author of the book Spiritual Direction: A Guide for Sharing the Father’s Love and Personal Prayer: A Guide for Receiving the Father’s Love\, all published by Emmaus Road Publishing.

SUMMARY:An Online Public Dialogue on Magnifica Humanitas: AI\, Catholic Social Teaching\, and Pope Leo's New Encyclical
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, June 2\, 2026 from 3:00 to 4:15 PM EDT\nOnline via Livestream \nCLICK HERE TO RSVP \nPope Leo’s first encyclical\, Magnifica Humanitas (“Magnificent Humanity”)\, comes as humanity’s relationship with technology undergoes an epochal change. This major document — the most significant of Leo’s pontificate so far — asks us to consider what it means to promote the common good and safeguard the human person in a context of rapidly developing technology\, especially the development of artificial intelligence. Pope Leo insists that this is not a moment for passive adaptation. The encyclical calls us to ask\, in every context – work\, family\, education\, public life – whether our technologies are serving human dignity or eroding it. \nThis dialogue will explore how technological changes can enhance\, rather than replace\, humanity’s co-creative relationship with God. It will also consider what new divisions we might face if we allow new technologies to replace our capacities for reflection and communion.
