SUMMARY:Theology of the Body II: Into the Deep Online
DESCRIPTION:Although the in-person TOB II: Into the Deep Course experience is the optimal transformational encounter with TOB with the celebration of the Sacraments\, daily prayer\, and interactions with the instructor and your fellow students\, we pray that this online course will give you a foundational encounter with the content of our in-person TOB II: Into the Deep Course. \nThe Theology of the Body II course builds upon and advances the material presented in TOB I\, revisiting the Wednesday audience addresses for more in-depth study (“into the deep”).  As in TOB I\, we will journey through the cycles of the catechesis as outlined by Pope Saint John Paul II.  Hence\, the structure and many of the concepts will be familiar\, but we will be focusing our attention on those sections of the catechesis not covered in Theology of the Body I (see comparative outlines in both the TOB I and TOB II study guides).  We will pay particular attention to the “hidden” addresses on the Song of Songs and the marriage of Tobias and Sarah.  These ten unabridged and undelivered talks represent one of the most important sections of the catechesis.

SUMMARY:Our Lady of Guadalupe Pilgrimage with Deacon Harold
DESCRIPTION:A Journey of Courage\, Witness & Hope \n\n\n\n\n\n\n“¡Viva Cristo Rey!” – Long Live Christ the King! These were the final defiant words shouted by countless Mexican martyrs who gave their lives rather than deny their faith during one of the darkest chapters in Catholic history – the Cristero War. \nOn this sacred pilgrimage\, we walk in the footsteps of these heroic witnesses\, men\, women\, and children who stood against violent persecution\, proclaiming the kingship of Christ and the maternal protection of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of discipleship and the call to courage in our own lives.

SUMMARY:Theology of the Body and Spiritual Direction: The Art of Accompaniment Online
DESCRIPTION:This course explores various aspects of the theory and practice of spiritual direction. Spiritual direction is an art that allows many approaches. What is unique about spiritual direction is that it is a relationship that focuses on the one-on-one relationship of the directee with God.  Our one-on-one relationship with God began and is seen in original man\, in his original solitude with God and is the foundation of every other relationship.  Through the wounds inflicted by sin\, historical man struggles to live fully from that relationship. The relationship of vulnerability with a spiritual director or a deeply trusted friend can help us move towards our destiny as eschatological man\, when that relationship is fully healed and brought to its ultimate spousal consummation with Christ.  The spiritual director supports the directee in traveling a way of prayer\, purification and illumination until arriving finally at transforming union with God. \n\n\nFr. Boniface Hicks\, OSB\, is a Benedictine monk of St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe\, Pennsylvania. He has provided spiritual direction for many men and women\, including married couples\, seminarians\, consecrated religious\, and priests\, even while completing his Ph.D in computer science at Penn State University. He became the programming manager and an on-air contributor for We Are One Body Catholic Radio in 2010 and has recorded thousands of radio programs on theology and the spiritual life. He has extensive experience as a retreat master for laity\, consecrated religious\, and priests. He became the Director for Spiritual Formation for Saint Vincent Seminary in 2016 and Director of the Institute for Ministry Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary in 2019 and has offered many courses on spiritual direction and the spiritual life. He completed the STL program at Sacred Heart Seminary on the New Evangelization in April 2023. He is author of The Fruit of Her Womb\, published by Sophia Institute Press\, as well as Through the Heart of St. Joseph and together with Fr. Thomas Acklin\, OSB he is author of the book Spiritual Direction: A Guide for Sharing the Father’s Love and Personal Prayer: A Guide for Receiving the Father’s Love\, all published by Emmaus Road Publishing.
