This group seeks to foster the prayer life of its members by studying foundational elements of the spiritual life through the writings of women saints and holy women.

The topic will be: St. Catherine of Siena
“I don`t believe one can acquire the fullness of grace or virtue without dwelling in the cell of the heart and soul. In this dwelling we will acquire life giving treasure, that is, the blessed abyss of knowledge of God and self.” — St. Catherine of Siena, Letter #30, May 1374
These are the words of our saint for this month, Catherine of Siena! In this month`s gathering we will look at the fundamental truth that the “Kingdom of God is within.” Learning to deepen our prayer lives, growing in knowledge of God we grow in the knowledge of who we truly are in the deepest part of our being, uniquely and divinely created. We will look at what “dwelling in the cell” means, concrete steps for learning GOOD self knowledge and how to battle obstacles to that knowledge.
