Reliquary of Saint Bernadette US Tour 2022

May 12 - May 15

  • « World Day of Prayer for Vocations
  • Sankofa Celebration »

In May each year, the Knights and Dames of the Federal Association of the Order of Malta take 48 Malades (French for “sick person”) and their Companions to Lourdes France.  The Pilgrimage involves Healing Masses, processing with the Blessed Sacrament, washing in the water, and visiting the Grotto where Our Lady appeared to Saint Bernadette. We witness many Miracles including Physical and Spiritual Healing in both mind and body.

The Covid Pandemic has cancelled our last two Pilgrimages.  Since we can’t travel again this year, we are bringing the Lourdes Pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen for the weekend of May 13th to the 15th.  Everyone is welcome to participate in venerating the Relics, participating in the Masses, Confession, Procession and Anointing of the Sick.  This is an opportunity to obtain a Plenary Indulgence.
