Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades welcomed participants of the Joint Conference of Black Catholic Clergy and Religious at the opening reception at Notre Dame on Sunday night. This is the first time the conference has been held at Notre Dame. The conference brings together Catholics from across the country in an annual gathering of the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus, the National Black Sister Conference, the National Association of Black Catholic Deacons, and the National Black Catholic Seminarians Association.
Geared toward young adults, this webinar, presented by Colleen Thomas, explores Contemplative Life, which encompasses a network of individuals and small faith communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel. The common desire for Divine transformation, primarily expressed through a commitment to a daily Centering Prayer practice, unites our international, interdenominational community.
