Baltimore Catholic school dedicates chapel to Mother Mary Lange

BALTIMORE —
The Archdiocese of Baltimore on Thursday honored a pioneer of African American prominence in the Catholic Church.
Mother Mary Lange School in west Baltimore held a chapel dedication to honor its namesake, Mother Mary Lange. The chapel blessing comes on the 140th anniversary of Lange’s death.
