Cuyahoga County Executive Ed
FitzGerald appointed the county's first law director Monday, February 7, 2010,
tapping Gregory Clifford, chief magistrate of the Cleveland Municipal Court.
Clifford, will serve as the legal adviser to both FitzGerald and the new charter
government's 11-member council. A past chairman of the 100 Black Men of Greater
Cleveland, first vice president of the Ohio Association of Magistrates, he has
serve on a number of Diocesan Board of the Directors, Committees, Councils,
Diocesan Agencies Board of Trustees and Catholic Charities Executive Board of
Directors , Clifford has been a judge for 24 years.
