Waiver of Dues For Members in the Hurricane Affected Councils and Courts

Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have impacted or shut down the operations of approximately 92 Councils and Courts along the Gulf Coast totaling more than 3200 Senior and Junior Division members. The National Council Board of Directors has agreed to pay the dues and mortuary payments of all members in the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina for the months of September, October and November. The Board will likely extend the payments through February. Those persons affected should contact the National Office at the address and phone number listed above.

Membership Reports

Membership Reports are available over the Internet. Your Financial Secretary must provide an e-mail address in order to receive the Report electronically. If the Financial Secretary does not have a computer, you should identify another officer or member to receive the report. This person should be officially appointed to receive the report by the Grand Knight or Grand Lady who must send a letter of authorization to the National Office.

Supplies

Supply orders have been delayed. To assist us, please provide copies of all orders submitted before August 26, 2005 but have not yet been received. Fezzes are shipped directly to the unit from the vendor. Sashes and other regalia as well as constitutions, handbooks, etc. are shipped from the National office.

Finally, please pray for our brothers and sisters who daily wrestle over an uncertain future. More importantly, let us recommit ourselves to the meaning of Claverism: Defining Love through Christian Service. May God continue to bless each of you for your ministry of service.

Yours in Claverism,

Arthur C. McFarland
Supreme Knight & CEO

Mary L. Briers
Supreme Lady
