The Impact Movement

Comment on Youth Articles in the forum

Mission: To take the truth of Jesus Christ to the campus, community and world by producing leaders of African descent who are spiritually focused, financially responsible and morally fit.

Vision: To see each community of African descent fulfill its destiny as a reflection of the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.

Our Goals

Our goal is to be a movement of long-term sustainability. As such, The Impact Movement is seeking to expand our presence on more than 100 college campuses, mobilize students to serve as tutors in their local communities, solidify our donor base, sharpen our ability to provide leaders for Youth and Young Adult Ministry in churches, and continue our involvement in reaching and discipling leaders in Africa.

We recognize that our vision is multi-faceted and our staff cannot accomplish it alone. Many churches and community groups already have ministries geared toward reaching young adults. We want to resource them to enlarge their territory by providing 200 Impact Youth Workers from our pool of college and career ministries.

In addition to ministry on the campus and in the community, we desire to bring ministry to the workplace. Upon graduating college and entering the workplace, many Impact Alumni had questions regarding balancing work and ministry together. In response to their questions at our national Impact Conferences, we developed tracts designated for career professionals as an effort to equip them to face the challenges of working in the secular arena.
